The MRI-safe buttons were designed by a graduate student, Jake Greenwood, to fit over the Celeritas buttons. Jake is currently a Ph.D. student whose primay advisor is Dr. Steven Barlow. The orginal Celeritas button has two blue small buttons and is not suitable for very young children. A young child tends to use his/her whole palm to press button. To collect responses easily, we used Ultimaker 3D printer to print one button per hand. The button assembly is strapped to the existing device and allows the user to comfortably respond to experimental prompts. The parts are made from plastic to eliminate any potential interaction or interference with the MRI. There are two versions. The first version is bigger than the second version (see figure). The second version works better than the first version. If you are interested in getting the 3D printing documents. Please Email us at yingying.wang@unl.edu.
