Dr. Barlow and Dr. Wang gave 35 summer camp students from Jeffrey S. Raikes School of Computer Science & Management a tour at CB3. Dr. Mathur, Fatima and Cristal participated and demonstrated how the MRI simulator system works. When the group arrived at CB3, they were given a 30-minute introduction session about the center and labs led by Dr. Barlow and Dr. Wang at B60 suite. Then, the big group was divided to two smaller groups. One group followed Dr. Barlow to the functional Near-Infrared Spectroscopy (fNIRs) lab and the other group followed Dr. Wang to the MRI suite and MRI simulator room. After spending 15 minutes at either fNIRs lab or MRI suite, the two group switched. Thus, all the students got to experience both imaging techniques.
